For the second year in a row, Rachel Raque used the occasion of her birthday to raise money for Flying Horse Farms.
Rachel invited friends and family to spend a day filled with games, food and fun, at her home in Galena to celebrate her 8th birthday. She didn’t want any presents, but asked friends to bring a donation to the camp instead. Rachel’s party raised $3,000 for Flying Horse Farms! A big thank you is owed to Rachel, her family and her friends for their generosity.
Rachel will use the money she collected from her 7th and 8th birthdays to secure the naming rights for two hitching posts at the camp in honor of her grandfathers, who were both avid horsemen.
