Do you have time, talent or treasure? Share it with us.

Time

When the camp opens we will need many volunteers to assist with camp tasks. In the meantime, while we develop the camp, there are several ways you can be involved.

Right now, you can do the following: become an advocate for the cause. Host a fund raising party. Help out in the office. (Also, as the camp nears completion, we'll have opportunities for painting, trailblazing, landscaping and other tasks to help us get open.)

Talent

We know we have needs, but what about your talent? How could your talent advance our cause? If you're motivated by our cause but not quite sure how to use your talent, call us and we can brainstorm together.

Everybody's got some sort of talent. What's yours?

Are you a carpenter? Painter? Artist, speaker, proofreader, or just somebody who's willing to get your hands dirty? We covet your talent.

Treasure

Flying Horse Farms needs to raise $20 million to build the camp and bring smiles to the faces of many children. Your gift is tax deductible (tax id: 20-3498125).

  • Participate in Kroger's Community Rewards Program. Go to www.krogercommunityrewards.com to register your card. Our NPO number is 84500. Everytime a card member shops and swipes their card, the camp will earn a rebate!
  • Participate in Team Hole in the Wall and raise money while getting excercise. Go to www.teamholeinthewall.org for more details.
  • Are you a 9-year-old? Share some of your allowance.
  • Have you just entered the job market? Give what you can.
  • Does your household have an annual giving plan? Include Flying Horse Farms with a regular gift.
  • Get employees involved: Begin a payroll deduction program or make Flying Horse Farms your company's "charity of choice" to an existing one. Promote your Matching Gift program to employees who make individual contributions to us. Create a challenge program among your employees and members. Provide prizes for participants who raise the most funds or volunteer the most hours.

We also need donations of materials and supplies: Building a camp is a huge endeavor. We need products like building materials, printing services, medical supplies, and even program supplies such as canoes, arts and crafts and sports equipment. We need things we haven't even thought of yet.
