They say that laughter is the best medicine for children,
and you can be sure that Flying Horse Farms will provide
plenty of laughter!
A summer camp experience for kids with life-threatening
conditions also involves the need for a state-of-the-art
medical facility staffed by full-time, highly trained medical
professionals. The medical facility at the camp will be equipped
to handle all the needs for the disease groups we will serve.
All medications and treatments are distributed to the children
in the camper areas so they do not have to miss any of the
fun.
Top doctors and nurses from Ohio’s finest Children’s
Hospitals are ready and willing to volunteer their time to
help these young patients. Most of the campers have serious
medical conditions that require daily treatment or medications
in addition to the common health issues associated with a
camp.
This on-site medical facility sets Flying Horse Farms apart
from other camps in that we will be able to serve children
who otherwise could not attend camp.
